The Block: Sharon and Ankur hit back at the judges after their outdoor reveal

The Block’s Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra were less than impressed with the judges’ feedback during Monday’s outdoor reveals.

Darren Palmer, Neale Whitaker and Shaynna Blaze criticized the location of the pool area and al fresco dining space.

‘This is very, very poor planning. I think it takes away from the majesty of this house and does not add value,’ Shaynna remarked.

It’s a pool you can’t access and a fire pit [hidden] in a laneway,’ she added.

Darren agreed, saying: ‘You’ve got a main bedroom and ensuite and this outdoor area that’s not connected to the living space.’

After listening to the feedback, Ankur said: ‘No disrespect to the judges but I don’t really care what they say with it being the last [reveal].

‘The house will sell itself regardless.’

‘You can keep your comments and smoke it,’ Sharon added.

It comes after the Melbourne-based couple unleashed on the show’s producers in an unsanctioned radio interview last Tuesday.

They slammed their ‘villain edit’ and called out the unfair emphasis placed on Sharon’s career as an actress on Hit NSW Breakfast with Maz and Matty.

‘They’re just highlighting what they want to highlight,’ she said of the producers.

‘[They are] always referring to me as “actress Sharon, actress Sharon” instead of just Sharon. [They] don’t go “social worker Sarah-Jane”. It does get a bit annoying.’

The former Neighbors star said the couple was getting ‘annoyed with the set-ups and the storylines’ as they headed into week 11 with auction day looming.

Quite clearly, we’re probably not going to be renovators after this. So don’t just cut off the only livelihood that my husband is going to have,’ she added.

This was a reference to the fact host Scott Cam and others had questioned Ankur’s credentials as an accountant due to the couple often going over budget.

That’s when tigress Sharon came out and was like, “You know what? STFU [shut the f**k up]. I’m not coping with that,” she said.
