Today show host Allison Langdon was left shocked after one of her guests exposed himself live on air on Tuesday.

Allison and her fill-in co-host David Campbell were interviewing Jimmy Niggles – real name Scott Maggs – on his latest project to raise funds for skin cancer.

They crossed to Jimmy, who was completely naked and holding a sign over his private parts which read: ‘Strip off for skin cancer’.

‘Oh my, I can’t look at this,’ said a stunned Allison, before covering her face with a paper.

Jimmy explained: ‘We’re down here on Bondi Beach with some very special news. It’s very revealing news. It’s very exciting for the whole country.’

Jimmy then exposed his bare bottom when he turned away from the camera and ran towards the beach.

During the interview, Jimmy revealed he’s aiming to get 2000 naked people to gather for a photo to ‘shine a massive spotlight on skin cancer in Australia’.

We’re aiming to get 2,000 people to represent 2,000 people that day from skin cancer every year. Each one of those will represent someone,’ he said.

Despite being one of the most successful cancers to treat if discovered early, melanoma remains one of Australia’s biggest killers – claiming one Australian every five hours.

Jimmy has been encouraging everyone to get their skin checked after the death of his friend Wes Bonny in 2010, aged just 26.

He recently shaved off his iconic beard after fundraising for his charity Beard Season reached the $1 million mark.

Jimmy began growing his beard 11 years ago, using it as a life-changing conversation starter to encourage everyone he spoke to, to get their skin checked.
