Love Island Australia star Anna McEvoy announced her engagement to long-time boyfriend Michael Staples earlier this month.

And on Wednesday, the 30-year-old took to Instagram to update fans on her wedding plans and whether the couple wants children in the future.

When asked if they are planning to have kids, Anna said that babies are on the cards ‘soon-ish’.

While they don’t have a wedding date locked in, Anna said she thinks a year to 18 months is a good length of time for an engagement.

‘I always wondered if I’d ever get engaged from a really young age. I always thought about what that would look like for me, who the person would be, how it would happen etc. etc. and now I know!’ she wrote

Anna and Michael announced their engagement on October 5 after a year of dating.

The couple had been enjoying a sun-soaked holiday in Canggu, Bali, when he popped the question.

Anna posted pictures on Instagram of her resort suite, where Michael had left a message that read, ‘Marry Me Honey.’

‘My absolute best friend and love of my life! YES ONE MILLION TIMES OVER,’ she wrote in the caption.

The engagement couldn’t have come sooner as Anna recently declared she had found her Prince Charming in Michael, calling him ‘The One’.

The influencer dished on her relationship during an Instagram Q&A with fans and made it clear she was certain he was the only man for her.

She said even though she and Michael had different ideas about what they wanted in the future, they were certain of their love.
