Best Garment Bags 2022 – Top Garment Bags for Storage and Travel
Edward Berthelot
I had never used a garment bag prior to, oh, just about a week ago, but I’m already sold on the concept. You might think of garment bags as mere sheath covers to be used to and from the dry cleaners or to lug that hideous bridesmaid’s dress to a destination wedding. But the best garment bags do so much more. Namely, it serves as an excellent travel bag and is ideal for quick trips when you don’t necessarily need to pack a weekender bag.
When I first encountered my new favorite garment bag, which you can find below, I was surprised at just how much could fit in it. Pockets for shoes, pajamas, and accessories, while keeping my hanging items wrinkle-free…how did I ever live without it?! Of course, there’s also the obvious purpose one serves, which is to store clothing and keep garments safe while not in use—whether that’s your heirloom wedding gown or a statement sequin jumpsuit you wore one New Year’s Eve. Be it for travel, storage, or anything else, take this as your sign to give a garment bag a try. It just might change your packing game.
